Your public IP—
What this IP means
It is the public address Rusadix receives when you run the check. It may belong to your direct connection, a mobile network, a provider, a VPN or another network intermediary. It is not necessarily your device's private address inside a home or office network.
Why this cannot be fully local
To know which public IP a website sees, the request must be observed from the receiving side. That is why this tool makes an explicit request to the Rusadix endpoint only when you press the button. Other tools continue to state separately when they work entirely in the browser.
