Detect personal-data patterns in text
Detect and anonymize sensitive patterns such as email, phone, IBAN, Spanish DNI/NIE, cards, IP, MAC, JWT, API keys and other identifiers without sending the text.
The sample replaces the text in the field. It uses a reserved example email and documentation IP address, showing why you still need to inspect names and postal addresses.
Features
Specific patterns
Combines patterns with validators such as Luhn, IBAN mod-97 and Spanish DNI/NIE checks when applicable.
Local text
The text is analyzed in your browser.
No anonymization guarantee
A zero result does not mean the text is free of personal information.
What it is for
It can help catch obvious oversights before you paste text into another app or publish it. It does not replace human review or a legal assessment of anonymization.
Before copying the result
A match list is only the first check. Look for names, postal addresses, health details, references to people or clues that could indirectly identify them. Automatic replacement is limited to detected patterns; it does not demonstrate that the resulting text is anonymous.
Frequently asked questions
Does it detect names or postal addresses?
Not reliably, so we do not claim that it does. The current version is limited to specific patterns it can recognize deterministically.
